Artificial Design
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the field of design, enabling designers to streamline their workflow, enhance creativity, and produce better designs with higher efficiency. The implications are huge. What does it mean for designers? On the plus side, AI supports the rapid generation of ideas and automates repetitive tasks, allowing designers to focus on the more complex, nuanced, and creative aspects of the design process. The downside includes job displacement and ethical issues regarding appropriation and intellectual property rights. As a designer, I am interested in the ramifications and consequences of AI in the field. Artificial Design addresses some general concerns about the new technology by exploring the benefits and challenges of incorporating AI into the design process.
