DiViDR
Prior to the pandemic, working from home accounted for only 5% of all workdays. But nowadays, working from home 1-2 days a week is popular among employees at all levels of an organization, from new hires to the CEO. In December 2022, almost 30% of paid workdays were from home. The pandemic proved that efficiency could be maintained for an extended period while working remotely. The downside of a remote situation is that some people lack adequate space in the home for a personal office set-up. Teamwork could prove difficult when one or more group members were easily distracted because they lacked privacy. DiViDR is a series of connected panels, one with a drop-down desk, that functions like a room screen and can easily be configured to ‘wall off’ space for the at-home worker. Users can create a separate room within virtually any room in the home. The pandemic may be over but remote work is here to stay.
