Language is a Fiber
Language is the weft and weave of one’s thoughts and perceptions of the world. It is a tool for communication, a means to express one’s innermost thoughts and emotions. It grants us the ability to read and write and speak. So too, language has always been a source of fascination and wonder. It has the power to shape one’s understanding of reality. All experiences manifest as a unique interpretability of words. As we perceive words through our eyes, words become a kind of fiber that travels along one’s veins to the brain. It is there that words commence dancing and singing, orchestrating a symphony of imagery. As a designer, I am interested in giving form to this idea, reifying the abstract, through language, typography, color, and form.
